A new platform that is shared with the redesigned 7-series, will utilize a mix of aluminum, steel and also carbon fiber.
The 5 series will not be larger than its previous edition, and it is expected to have the same basic suspension setup. The New BMW M5 retains the current 4.4-liter V-8, however with the output boosted past 600 horsepower.
